Crazy day today. We have friends in from out of town - Jan (Weezie) and Paul took the day with their son, Cameron and went to the Science Centre in Toronto while their daughter Britt went to camp at Frozen Ropes with Claire, Cole and Caden.
I ran around doing errands. Probably should have taken different pictures (at least some of Jan's family *eek* but alas, even with the camera in my pocket all day I forgot a few things!)
At any rate, here is my 12 of 12 for March:
Well before Breakfast, Caden is on-line visiting Club Penguin. We've finally got the house all set up and wireless. Very exciting. Now there's no way to keep him off! Good thing he uses a laptop and I can hide it in the cupboard ;)
Chloe had a hard day. She was placed on the step stool as punishment for her sneaking into the TV room last night. So sneaky is she, the pillows were placed just right that if I weren't wise to her ways, I would have thought she was sound asleep up in her loft bed. I was ruthless: she was on the stool from 7AM through to 11:30AM.
I'm getting into the habit of eating breakfast. In support of my on-and-off-line friends who are hoping to get onto the "Biggest Loser", I've been posting a Breakfast Club reminder each morning on ScrapShare for those of us who simply wouldn't eat breakfast if left to our own devises! This morning was an everything bagel with cream cheese and turkey, a clementine and coffee.
While they're off to March Break Camp at Frozen Ropes: Claire, Cole, Caden and Britt are spending the week learning and refreshing their baseball and softball skills. Poor Louis, just back from Bike Week in Daytona Beach, has a hideous cold. Me? I'm hanging out by my favourite new purchase and getting to know my MacBook.
We LOVE our local Fortino's grocery store. Fantabulous food, all fresh, weird for me since I spent my whole career in General Merchandise to shop in a store with NONE! But, intoxicating to see all of the yummy fresh stuff. Chloe is taking the escalator up - and the cart is taking it's escalator up - they'll meet at the top. Neat contraption.
On our way home from errands we went over to Bronte Harbour. They are starting to dredge out the harbour to make room for the boats. Ah, you can tell they're expecting Spring soon. Tons of activity. Workers. Fishermen. Sunshine!
There are no small jobs. We have a leak in our living room/family room. Three roofers later, Shawn has come to save us from the indoor precipitation. Hard to imagine but the culprit is the balcony off the third floor. 8 feet by 8 feet of rotted wood and poor construction. I don't know why people don't do things right the first time. Grrr.
Lazy lasagne takes longer than I remember. But boy is it ever worth it!
Cole's hockey practice was at Ice Sports and I read the note to say that it was changed to a family skate. Clearly I need reading glasses.
How many laptops can be used at one time? Claire, Cam and Britt are using three in the family room, Jan and I are using ours in the kitchen. I love our new wireless house!
Claire is getting notes via her MSN and sharing the stories with her brother. Finally, something they can do together!
Quick note: I'm not re-formatting, so let's hope this works the first posting!

Great photos!
Looks like it was a great day. I need to find out how to make Lazy Lasagna.
Great pics of your day :) Hoping your dd has learned her lesson? 4 hrs is a LONG time on the "naughty chair" :)
Looks like you had a crazy, busy day. Great photos, Lee. Oh and lazy lasagna sounds very yummy.
Thing Two read over my shoulder and said "Glad I don't live there" when he realized how long you have to sit on the naughty chair for sneaking out to watch some tv!
Good for you on getting 12 on the 12th done...I didn't snap a single photo this time!
LOL...and I just noticed "Mr. Weezie" sitting there amongst all of the laptops enjoying his beer. Must be his way of dealing with the overload of all that technology in one place (he is SOOO not a geek...he leaves that up to me...but then expects ME to teach HIM). :)
