The ham gene

Each of my children have received a good dose of humour. Ever since Claire was a little kid she has enjoyed playing with the mesh protecting the Fuji apples. She puts her thumb through and wears them like a fingerless glove.

I love that she still has that little girl inside her. It is delightful (and fleeting) when she comes out to play. I'm still shocked she let me get it on camera! Must have been a great day at school, or her guard is just way down. Regardless. I'm thrilled.
