Changes in the neighbourhood

We moved into this neighbourhood last summer - in May. This is an area of older 20+ year old homes - some original, some renovated - down in Bronte Village. A beautiful spot in Oakville. Many families moved in when they had young children and many of those young children are now having families of their own. Right now, today, there are three homes for sale on the other cul-du-sac (our road has a double cul-du-sac). All three had open houses today. I cannot believe the number of cars who have circled our little round about out the dining room windows. Two of the homes on our half of the street sold before the new year - one of them was bought by a neighbour so really we only get one new family to look forward to meeting!

I always find changing neighbourhoods fascinating. Like a jigsaw puzzle. You never know what you're going to get! The kids will certainly have fun this summer getting to know everyone and Louis and I look forward to meeting them too.
