When I grew up, so long ago, I remember Saturday mornings were always very quiet because my parents were sleeping-in.
I am now older than my parents were at that same stage of life.
Times change.
Today, Saturday, I am not sleeping in. I am busy with the following activities:
7:30AM Claire and Louis are to be at the ball park in Burlington
10:30AM Caden is to receive his baseball participation medal
11:30AM Cole is to be at his hockey practice until 1PM
12:00PM Claire plays her second game of the playoffs
3:30PM We are all going to Claire's third game in Burlington
There may or may not be another game to attend. No doubt we will join friends and our day will slowly blend into night and we won't see our home again until well after dark. Another long, enjoyable, competitive, fun day spent out and about.
I suppose there will be a time Louis and I get to sleep-in.
The time is NOT now.

I'm a third generation "Morning Person" so sleeping in has no attraction to me. But what I do enjoy is waking up and enjoying the silence while everyone else is still asleep.
However sadly, I fear I'm raising 4th generation Early Birds.
Hope you enjoy your busy day...all too soon that nest is going to be empty, right? (how's that for optimism?)
I'm not a morning person so any Saturday I get to sleep in is awesome. But today is not one of those. Hubby is away for the day and my kiddos wake up at 7am no matter what.
P.S Thanks for the kind comments you left on my blog, it made me feel like someone understands my situation about French schools vs English and your advice really brought me some peace.
