Better late than never. This I've taken on as a "blog" challenge as opposed to a "layout" challenge. Twelve pictures of our lives taken on the twelfth of each month. If I get motivated enough, I can scrapbook it for the year: an easy task and a wonderful completed project!
Each morning when we get up the first thing we look out at the lake. We are always greeted with a different sight. Today, the ice was forming in layers. It was both chilling and spectacular. No doubt there will be another weather warning today.

After dropping Claire at school I came home and couldn't find Caden. Louis was eating breakfast with the other two and hadn't seen him. Here is the monkey - in my bed! Not feeling well and running a bit of a temperature. I guess my plans for the day have changed!

The best part of the morning? The first cup of coffee! Between the two of us, Louis and I polish off a whole pot by the time he leaves for work at 10:00am.

Ah, my day begins. Kids are up, breakfast eaten, lunches made, agendas signed, dropped of at their respective schools. I've had my shower and dressed in something presentable. And, I've poured my coffee.

And what goes best with coffee? The Internet, of course! So, I'm off to spend a bit (!!) of time on ScrapShare and Facebook.

Blink! Just like that, it's time for lunch! I've woken the little man ... who is not sick anymore ... go figure! He's happy for some steak and kidney pie picked up from the British Shop just yesterday and some green beans. The tea is for me, he's happy with milk.

Surprise, this is where I do spend most of my day. Like most, I have a love-hate relationship with laundry. Poor Louis asked this morning how it is I constantly wash and dry and fluff and fold our beautiful white spa-like towels but they never seem to be available for us. They do make it up to the master bath. Just not available for the masters themselves.

Finally. A toaster! We've been without one for a while and I was getting a bit tired of 'broiling' toast in the oven. I had put it off because our last toaster, though a Cuisinart and highly recommended, took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to toast bread. So, a quick trip to Zellers and here is my new kitchen gadget. Love appliances. I have a weakness.
Every Tuesday, ChloƩ goes off to her voice training at Elizabeth's place. We were told today that she has more than a little bit of talent and a good "ear" so maybe she'll stick with this fascination she has developed for musical theatre. She even gave Daddy a bit of a show when he went to collect her.

I'm thinking the Canadiens scored? Can my boys ever make a racket when their team plays to win!

Ah, we're a bit late tonight. Normally it's time for bed at 7:30 but with the game on and all ... yada yada yada. So, they got a half hour extension.
Here is Claire putting the finishing touches on her Science Fair project due on Friday. I'm amazed so much got done so 'early'. She is the queen of procrastination! This was early in the stages and she worked on it for at least two hours.
What have I been doing while she's been working diligently on her project? Trying to get this silly blog entry to format properly. GRRR! I don't know that I'll be doing this again any time soon ...

The entry looks fantastic. It was worth the struggle.
And Canadiens fans eh? Interesting... ;)
