It's Chicago time!
Louis is a good man.
We have been loading my iPod for my upcoming trip to Texas. While going through my extensive selection of songs and groups I realized that I was missing a something: a sound. HORNS! I was missing horns.
I've always been a big fan of Chicago. When it came time, I never converted from tape to CD (lo so many years ago) so we have a few CDs, but not really the good stuff, the old stuff.
Louis went out yesterday and got me a Rhino collection of 'old' Chicago.
I've been playing the CDs all morning, the second disc just ended. How fantastic are they? Incredible. Truly talented, rocking, group of musicians.
As for my iPod? What's missing now?

Oh.my.word. Lee!!! Love me some Chicago. It's actually one of my favorites. How could I have let them fall by the wayside? Thank you for this great reminder. Off to see if I have any iTunes credits left. LOL
