After seeing all those photos from Texas there is no longer any doubt in my mind that this weight loss journey cannot be put on hold any longer! Our teams have been assigned, weights shared (eek!) and measurements taken.
Can you imagine how hard it is to find a tape measure with INCHES in this country? Instead of converting, I decided to become creative and use ribbon and an old yardstick instead. The plan is to take the difference between the measurements taken yesterday, and the measurements that will be taken once I reach my goal, and use the ribbon in a scrapbook layout ... or album. It really depends on how long this journey is going to be!
The ScrapShare "Biggest Loser" Challenge is on. I have a great team: Kate, Michelle, Julie and Tracey. They have elected me leader. I think that's a euphemism for "needs to lose the most weight" ;) Our new blog has been put together, team name chosen: Booty Busters, ideas are being shared, encouragement is being posted and we're all on board.
So, instead of sitting here on the computer, I'm going to get my booty out the door and take a walk before the rain comes. Have a great day!
