Texas Day 4

Day 3 is also known as the long goodbye. We had to be checked out of our rooms by 1PM and out of the scrapbook room by 3PM. I got out of our room as quick as I could, all packed and ready so I could use every spare millisecond in the scrap room visiting with everyone!
Loaded!
Me and Charla (scrapbookaddict) was such a delight. Very funny and had this neat phone that connected to the internet. I think she was the only one able to get a signal all weekend. We were definitely in "retreat" mode ... no TV, no phone (land or cell), no internet. It's a miracle we survived!
Wishing my tablemates - Amanda and Amy safe travels.
Gotta have the boobie photo!

Front and behind! Love me some Lissa, Desi and Tiff!
This is Patti, Joanie's godmother. Very sweet lady.
Yup, that's Tiff with her tongue in Joanie's ear.
Des and our hostess with the mostess, Joanie! Poor Joanie had walking pneumonia - again - and barely made it to the retreat. I was so thrilled to see her. Definitely on my list of must-know-better people.

Sarah, Diane, Amanda, Joanie and Patty pose in front of the loaded pick up truck.

It was sad to say goodbye, but boy, what a fantastic time. Never enough to spend with everyone as much as you'd like but I did manage to get around the room and say hi or eat in the dining room with new people each meal.

Good times, good times.

We all managed to make it back to Stacy's house. Desiree did get her birthday wish of a cheeseburger for dinner! I believe I was the only one to sleep in a bed that night (I turn into a pumpkin early) while everyone just stayed up as they had to leave for the airport for 5AM. I said my goodbyes around 1AM or 2AM and left Stacy, Desiree, Tiffany, Melissa and Sarah chatting away.
