Do you find creating a layout harder when using more or less photos?
It depends on the story. To me it is the story that matters. One photo, twenty photos, it doesn't really matter. My layouts all start with the journaling and evolve from there.
Sometimes I get only one good photo, other times I get only one good photo but the story needs more - so I include the less-than-good photos, too. Or, sometimes I get oodles of great photos and don't know which to choose!
Lately I've been attempting one photo on a two page spread which has been fun. I actually just finished one which you will see posted later today!
I'm entering a number of sketch challenges in order explore more styles and ideas. Who knows what I'll come up with this week? Whatever it is, it will be fun. Oh, and the subject will be my children, of course. Because, easy or hard, I just have to get layouts d.o.n.e.!

Where are you getting your challenges? This sounds like a great idea :)
I get most of my challenges at 2Peas in the General Scrapping section. If you go to the Daily Blog post often it is started by someone posting a challenge. Sometimes I participate. Sometimes not. But it always gives me plenty to think about!
