I am so privileged to have an entire scrap room - the LINAR studio - in which to work on my layouts and projects. It is filled with all manner of embellishment, paper, cardstock, alterable projects, ribbon, albums, photographs ... everything that makes any visitor know they've just entered scrapbook chaos!
Ordered chaos.
Everything has a home.
Unless I'm working on a project and then it is pure silliness to find anything!
I have organized everything by colour. Sometimes by manufacturer, though that is usually for paper, but even then they are in colour families (maybe that's why Basic Grey gives me such fits!).
The problem? Everything is taken out of its packaging. I have been doing a lot of layouts lately and would like to post some and give credit where it is due. I can't! For the life of me I cannot remember where "X" do-dad came from or how "Y" do-hickey got into my stash! I tend to go in phases of creativity. I never stop shopping for stuff, but I often stop creating and it can be weeks before I pick up a sheet of Bazzill and dig out the tape runner!
If you could, whenever you see an unacknowledged do-dad or do-hickey, can you shoot me a quick note? Or add something in the comments?
Thanks! Have a great day :)
