Oh my goodness!
SUGAR anyone?
We spent the day with friends at Rib Fest in Burlington. We got there in the early afternoon so as to avoid the lunch and dinner crowds. This is our second visit to this annual happening and something we've been looking forward to all summer. It is less than 10Km down Lakeshore and on a regular day and easy drive. Not today: clearly everyone had the same plan we did to avoid the crowds!
Every time I turned around, Caden had gone on an adventure with one of our kids or our friends' kids and returned with a treat.
Our boy certainly has a sweet tooth!
Good thing Rib Fest is only once a year. We made it home at close to 10PM and he crashed. Big day for our boy. Big day for all of them. It's now 10:45PM and I am the only one still up and about.

Man have I ever been MIA lately eh? Okay - Rib Fest - one thing I miss about Canada....
BUT - in October, we have the Georgia National Fair in Perry Georgia and the food is awesome - I was looking at Caden's corn on the cob - man that would be good right about now!!! ;)
