I am very grateful for "modern conveniences". How could we survive without them? None are particularly fun or exciting but imagine life without indoor plumbing, washers and dryers, fridges and stove/oven (sorry Lindy, most of us have them!). Even the "extra" conveniences like microwaves, coffee makers and food processors, just make things easier.
