Found in the mailbox

Every once in a while there is something more than bills in the mailbox. An unexpected gift and a surprise:

This lovely card and photo came from the tremendously talented Susannah over at Ink on My Fingers. It is all the way from one of my most favourite places on earth: Bath, England. A place she is able to call home. It is an unexpected thank you for joining her Unravelling: Ways of Seeing My Self e-course. It has been fabulous, so far. I've been writing and creating a ton!

And finally, after months of waiting, this little gem has arrived from Chapters. Probably, sadly, the last book published by Simple Scrapbooks. I have been looking forward to it's arrival since late last summer! The author, Lain, is lovely. I've been her "friend" on Facebook since she signed up and am currently taking her LOAD Challenge. She has been a real inspiration.

Love receiving fun stuff :)

I'm now off to read ... and write ... and all that good stuff. Enjoy the rest of your day!

I'd love to hear more about that book. Sadly, it is only recently that I've become interested in Simple Scrapbooks and now I regret not buying the mags...
I can't wait to see how they incorporate that mag vision into CK which I buy each month.
