This picture was taken only moments ago. The wind is cold and has been constantly blowing all day. The waves have been crashing. The one thing you forget in the silence of the winter is how LOUD it can be around here when the ice has melted!It's FABULOUS!

I'm jealous! I love the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore.
I have always loved the sound of water, regardless of how choppy the waves may be. I find it very soothing - almost lulls me to sleep.
