Sixteen Spring Photos

We had a spectacular day here in Southern Ontario. Not a cloud in the sky and you could almost hear the tulips, daffodils and hyacinths bursting through the ground cover.

While waiting for the barbeque to pre-heat, I grabbed my camera, flipped it to manual (!!) and went on a nature hunt in the back yard while the sun was setting. I came up with a few fun shots:

I love that our back yard is filled with both hard and soft, bright and subtle, clean and dirty. There's always plenty to do (plant, paint, repair), but this was a fun fifteen minutes getting pretty dirty taking some of the shots!

Wow! Fantastic shots Lee and I am so jealous that your Forsythia is getting close to blooming.

Great shots, Lee! And in manual - I bow at your greatness! Looks like your 50mm lens? Jealous that your tulips are coming up. I need to plant them this fall.

good job on the manual setting! I like the brick wall photo the best.

Loved the shots, especially the buds. Makes me want to look around my yard more carefully.
