Butt Out

Eight years ago today I quit smoking.

I woke up on Caden's first birthday and decided not to light up, again. Ever.

It was the hardest process I've ever endured in my life. Perspective: I gave birth to and am raising four kids.

It was the right decision. My lungs are glad I did it. My kids are glad I did it.

I'm glad I did it.

Yay, me.

How wonderful!! I keep talking about quitting but never really give it any effort.

Congratulations on 8 years! It's been 1 year for me, and I have to agree about it being a hard thing to do.
