Family Trip to Marineland

I continue to suffer the effects of walking a bagillion kilometres yesterday, on the hottest day of the summer (so far), at an amusement park. Crazy, right? Right. But fun. A day my kids woke up talking about. They loved every hot, sweaty, ice cream-filled minute of it!

I'm almost *gasp* out of holiday photos so needed to coordinate my printing for today. So, here in 58 photos was our wonderful trip to Marineland yesterday:



And, for those curious, here is a photo of Claire's new "do". After months of negotiation, and my refusal to let her go dark, our compromise looks like this:

I have to say, I really like it. Claire always looks good, but this adds to her new found want-to-be-edgy personality; but, in a mama-approved-tasteful way. One battle down, of many to come. Solution found and we're both happy. Fingers crossed that all battles work out as smoothly.

Oh, and photo credit: we had to divide-and-conquer yesterday and the two phenominal photos in the slide show of the Orca during the show were taken by Claire. She has a great eye and I think she did really well!
