Dara Torres

Have you been watching the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials?

In swimming, one more American record fell on final night when Dara Torres (Los Angeles, Calif.) lowered her own mark in the 50m freestyle. Torres qualified in her second individual event with the win with a time of 24.25 seconds.

Dara Torres is 41.

Wow.

Hi! I'm just stopping by after reading your post on the BPS Have More Fun board! I love your blog! I admit I haven't watched a ton of the Olymic trials, but I did stay up late to watch my friend's daughter, Kara Goucher, qualify in women's track. It's so cool!

My DD said to me, you could be doing this mom! I am glad to think she thinks I am capable! LOL. I can not wait to see her in the Olympics.
