More in the mailbag!

I have mentioned that I am easily enabled, haven't I?

Well, I now have some gorgeous "Black Market Paper Society" paper in the house!

As an active class participant at Big Picture Scrapbooking, I spend a lot of time scanning the offerings over at scrapbook.com as I'm looking for recommended albums or picking up class supplies. Last week they were offering this new brand of paper at a significant savings. I was all over it! I'm also really impatient, well, with my scrapbook supplies. So, order immediately rather than waiting to see if my local scrapbook store will be bringing in this new offering.

I really like the black and white paper "Ebony & Alabaster" which will be perfect for the sophisticated look I'm going for with Claire's altered advent calendar. I'm also a big fan of purple and bronze together as found in the "Let it Bloom" collection.

An added bonus: What a tactile experience! The texture of the paper is very much like those old wallpaper books I used to go through as a child. Every time I think of going more "digital" it's the feel of the paper that draws me back to creating with my hands, not just with the computer mouse!
