Even though July was the wettest on record, Cole's team never had to call a game due to weather ... until tonight. Actually, with three out of four playing baseball, I don't think we've missed a game since May due to bad weather. Cole was so disappointed, he was so looking forward to playing, and beating (of course) the first place team in the Mosquito division.
Ah well, it's all part of the game. It's still storming, so, good call ump!

Oh! How disappointing. Oh, well. Like you said - it's part of the game. Love the Norman Rockwell painting. He's probably one of my favorites. =]
