Equal opportunity layout

Lest you think I have three children, let me assure you, I do have four. Those of you who know Chloé in person are well aware that she asserts herself around here. Our family would not be complete without her, my younger daughter, my piece of work.

This is the "Real World Colour" assignment from the Cathy Zielske class. She has given us a reprieve from our balance classes and has provided us with this bonus idea: to take an interesting colour combination found in the "real world" and provide us with a sketch.

This was my first 8 1/2" x 11" layout. Very quick once I got over my hesitation of using my handwriting on the layout. I think it turned out pretty well. Chloé is, of course, thrilled with the results.

Your daughter is gorgeous and your lo is FAB! Can't wait to see more.

great color combo and I really like the blocking technique - very clean and linear - right up my alley!

I would have loved to take Cathy's class, but I just couldn't swing it - I bet it's fantastic?
