I am tremendously grateful for books and education. As much as I enjoy the computer, I really enjoy the tactile experience of books. A few years ago, there was a countdown to what was the greatest invention in the last 2,000 years and the winner was the printing press. I agree completely. I don't know where society would be if it had never been invented.
So this is a two-fer:
I am grateful for books, biographies, fiction, photo collections, how to, all of it! I love that my children are starting (it's about time!) to enjoy the journeys they can take without even leaving the house!
I am grateful for education. Especially the education we are able to provide for our children. It is just the beginning of a larger journey for them. I so hope that in the next few years they find something that catches hold of them and infuses them with a passion and they follow those dreams.

Hey Lee! Did you take that photo of the books? If not can you tell me where it is from - I am doing a BoM page about reading and what it means to me and I would love to use the photo. Thanks for your help! Jayne
