Being asthmatic and having children with breathing difficulties, I am grateful for the flu shot. I am even more grateful for universal heath care (which, I know is not really universal, but is certainly better than a kick in the pants) and the fact I can get in a small line and have my family protected for another flu season.

Ow! That looks painful. I'm gonna get mine too, but yikes I don't like needles.
Oh yeah. .got to do that. . .everyone in my house gets one! Got to protect my son who has a heart defect. I'd rather be achey and sore for a few days then risk giving him the flu!
