(The View Out My Backdoor: 01-01-09)The orange streaks of a new winter day welcomed me when I woke at 7 this morning. I wanted to share the first view out my backdoor of 2009 with you.
It may be a new year, but some things stay the same: the kids had videoed Caden at his most sleep-deprived last night (singing "I'm to sexy for my shirt" at the top of his lungs - choreography included) and used my camera to record the spectacle. It took a while to find it!

Beautiful - I had planned to get up early to photograph the sunrise, but the bed was too comfortable and warm!
