Go save a word

Have you been over to Yeah, Write, yet? Angie Lucas, late of the Simple Scrapbooks Blog, has started her own blog - all about grammar and the use of language. It's fabulous!

Today she directed her readers to Save The Words. Each year hundreds of words are dropped out of the Oxford Dictionary. This is an effort to help save the words!

I used the random selector and got Blateration. Loved it immediately as it is the perfect word for me to adopt. It means to babble, to carry on, to use many words and not make sense. Wonderful. I will use it a lot ;)

So go, go now, go save a word!

I am laughing over here at your word!! That is too cool of a word to be dropped from the dictionary. Whose idea was that anyway? They obviously didn't consult us blogging women!

Love it - I may have to pop over and adopt a word myself :)
