Manic Monday #166

I almost completely forgot about my Manic Monday meme! I've been negligent, so I'm jumping back in:

If you could completely redecorate any room in your house at no expense to you, what room would you choose?

Well, since we had a massive leak in the basement bathroom last night (see photo) I'm thinking that would be the best place to start!

But, really? I'd like to re-do the boys space. I say space because it's big enough for two rooms, maybe three, but it's just one big open room. I'd like to make it a bit less open and then decorate to suit the personalities of each boy. A couple of skylights, a few built-in bookshelves, bigger beds, nothing over the top, just something a bit cozier.

Which hour of the day do you feel goes the slowest?

Around here there is no such thing as a slow hour! There is always something going on and I'm usually looking for more time to do things. Certainly things pick up from 3PM through 8PM when the kids have activities, or we have meetings and volunteer commitments. Where do I find a slow hour? Do you have one you can give me?

If your birthday could be in a different month of the year, when would you have it?

My birthday is September 4th and I wouldn't change it for anything. I love September. For me it has always been the "start" of my year - both because it is the start of my year and the school year. I'm so energized and enthusiastic ready to start new things, the weather is cooling down, routines re-start, order is returned to the world. I'll keep September, thanks :)

How would YOU answer these questions? Let me know!

Oh dear, I hope the leak in the bathroom doesn't cause too much trouble to fix... leaky pipes can be a bugger to get at sometimes.

I find the hour before quitting time always goes the slowest for me. I can't wait to get home and into something comfy and unwind.

September is my sons birthday too!

I wish we could re-do our laundry room. Seeing as how I spend half my life in there, I'd like it to look nicer and be more functional.

I could say the same thing for myself, but you only asked about re-doing rooms. Not human beings.
