20 Things in 6 Minutes

Cole was given a two-part assignment at school: bucket lists. I believe it was for his guidance class. He had to write down a list of 100 things he wants to do before he dies. Which he did. I can't wait to see it, I know some things, but he is a pretty private little guy, I'm sure I can come up with his top 10, but after that, who knows? The second part of the assignment was to have a parent write down the 20 Things they want to do before they die. Presumably a shorter list since we have less time in which to accomplish things. I was the chosen parent.

This assignment had to be handed in at 9AM. I received a panicked note on MSN Messenger from my boy at 8:43AM. "I need your 20 Things! NOW!" Two things: that was insane: I had to come up with something quick; and, love communicating with my kids during the day! I managed to get it back to him at 8:49. Six minutes.

Lesson: if you really want to know what you want, write it quick, there is no time for thought or adjustments!

Here is my list:

I think they're all do-able, especially since I figure I'll be at this for a while longer! Maybe I'll just accomplish this list and then make a new one. How about you? What is your six-minute bucket list?

Oh my gosh, what a story! I love your list. I've never put one together myself, except for ideas floating around my head. I've also liked the idea I've seen people do of say "50 things to do before 50" or whatever birthday. Maybe something I should finally document!
