Fiddlehead Season is HERE, finally

With a bit of butter, sea salt, cracked pepper and garlic.

YUM! I just bought a bunch at Fortino's. Can't wait for dinner tonight!

Well, tomorrow night. Surprise: we have baseball at two parks tonight.

Lee, I'm not sure I even want to know, but WHAT IS THAT??? I'm not thinking it looks very appetizing. Enlighten me.

Funny! They're fabulous. I found an excellent article that sums it all up: http://www.vitalitymagazine.com/node/129
appropriately titled: Fiddleheads taste like Spring.

Oh.my.word. I did not know that other people eat fiddlehead fern! My mother (who is Korean) picks, prepares, dries and sells fiddlehead. We call it Co-sah-tee. Amazing. See, this is why I love your blog!! =]

I too must confess to leaving your blog and heading straight for google. And now I know what a fiddlehead is...but I fear I'll still be doing a polite "no thanks" should a platter ever be passed around the table.

But now, you go enjoy your seasonal treat...don't let my wrinkled up nose and picky ways stop ya from enjoying your treat!
