Claire's dragon boat coach asked me to come out and take a few photos of the two Appleby boats being entered into the Regatta on June 15th. She wants practice photos and actual regatta photos. I was thrilled to be asked, and thrilled with the results.
It's been a few years since I've been to Oakville harbour. I've stayed closer to the West end and Coronation Park. I've forgotten how beautiful it is.
We were expecting rain, woke up to glorious sunshine which disappeared once the team was in open water. That's okay. They had a great practice. The team is doing very well and we can't wait for the big competition on June 15th!
