Worth the wait

The day is clear and bright.
Sun shining.
Light breeze.
Not too hot.
Perfect top-down weather.

On the way home from dropping the girls off at camp, I pulled into Cudmores, my favourite local nursery. With all the wet weather (record setting, by the way) our plants have suffered from the lack of sunshine.

I crave something bright to welcome us home.

The man who helped me with my choices was lovely and very knowledgeable. He's assured me that I cannot possibly kill these before it's time to replace them with autumn chrysanthemums. Now there's a challenge I'm ready to take on. Hopefully he's right because that means two whole months of colour!

Beautiful flowers! I wanted a convertible but dd and ds kind of freaked out about riding with the top down. The convertible will have to wait. LOL

I like the convertible - there is nothing nicer than convertible weather. The flowers are very pretty, too.
