Never a dull moment

I have finally received the league hockey schedules for both boys. Did that ever fill up the calendar! Now I can schedule Cole's fencing; Chloe's swimming; Caden's basketball; and Claire's social life.

It had been an odd month of September going at half-speed once all of the baseball playoffs and tryouts were over.

I'm looking forward to gearing up and taking the kids to the activities they so enjoy. We should be going full speed by our Thanksgiving weekend and then completely in our routine through to March.

There have been times when I've read your blog with envy. Your beautiful lakeside location, your willingness to be real with thoughts and worries, your creative talents and energy. You get the idea...

But today? Not so much envy coming from me...snicker snicker...

Wishing you a healthy month...because in all honesty? It doesn't look there is time for anyone to get sick or injured!

You're funny. No envy required! Do know, though, that some of those oodles of listings are optional activities - like the open swim and fencing. But if I don't put them on the calendar I'll forget them completely!

Thanks for the well wishes, I too am hoping for a healthy month ... healthy season. November is already looking CRAZY :)
