Welcome Spring!

Just waiting for the Forsythia hedge to bloom.

This has been such a long winter. I don't know why it has affected so hard this year. After all, I'm Canadian, our winters are always long. Unlike most, this one was quite bright and boy was it cold! I really think missing the January thaw, which arrived late February, really effected my sense of hope! The knowledge that better days were soon to arrive.

This video below gives hope. I'm sure you'll agree. What a small, powerful, moment to capture. I had tears in my eyes when I first watched it.

Don't you just love it when the Forsythia blooms - that's how you know winter is finally over. Unfortunately, my Forsythia is no were near ready to blossom :(

Thanks for the video. Happy Friday!

My Forsythias are just now starting to bloom. FINALLY! I'm finding that although yellow isn't one of my favorite colors, it's the one of the only bright spots to show that Spring is indeed on it's way. Thank heavens I have something new to photograph! Thanks so much for sharing!
