My Best Shot Monday

Tracey Clark hosts My Best Shot Monday over on her blog. I've often gone to visit, and blog hop to those on her blog roll, but I've not participated.

Until now.

Once I go through all of my photos, generally on Sunday evenings, I usually have two or three favourite pictures. This will force me to have to pick one, and post one, and hold my photography up for criticism. After all, how else do you get better? And it will help me build a portfolio. Not that I need a portfolio. But I might. Maybe.

So, here is my first "best shot":

Taken in Cape Cod last week. I love the dappled sunshine on the glorious pink buds. There were a TON of photos taken. Close to 500. Hard to narrow it down to just one. But this is the one, the one that has stayed in my head since it was taken.

Who knows, I might get really brave and join in the SOOC Saturday. Which I suppose would be simply my Best Shot Saturday since everything I post is SOOC. Oh, what is SOOC? It stands for Straight Out Of Camera - no post production, perfect for me since I'm way too lazy, I have to get the right shot with the camera, not with photoshop :)

The light is so pretty! Buds are a fantastic subject. Nice capture!

Welcome to the BSM club! I also host a photo club on called Theme Thursdays. Feel free to come over and play along! This week's theme is Sunny, so your shot already made me think of that.

This photo is just GORGEOUS! You always have such fabulous photos . . .

What a wonderful way to learn and grow. I may get brave enough to join myself . . . someday . . .
