Blogging for Scrapbookers: Prompt Three

Looks like I jumped the gun a bit with my post on Starred Items earlier in the week!

The third prompt is about linking favourites which can be so much more easily done on the blog than in a scrapbook! Once I put together my Starred Items list last week I thought I probably should start organizing all of those brilliant tidbits so that they are easier to find and more consistent in content rather than just a jumble. But then again, maybe random bits and pieces of all kinds of things is better? I prefer to get it organized, after all isn't the key to be able to find it again?

I've been mulling over different Christmas giving ideas and THOSE that have been bookmarked recently have been *gasp* organized so I can find them again. Perfect because now I can share them with you! This year the majority of family and friend gifts will be hand made. This is for two reasons, I'm trying to be more cost conscious, but I'm also far more confident in my crafting abilities. I've come up with some really great finds, in addition to Brenda Arnall's date book shared here earlier in the week, and hope you agree:

Book Page Wreath
True Happiness Decor
Fancy This Wreath
Coasters
Erin Vale Downloadables: All over her blog!
Ornament Wreath

Are you going to craft any gifts this season? Have you found any ideas you're willing to share? What do you think of these? As I do them, I'll post - with the amount of time it actually took to complete, from start to finish! That's always key :)

No plans for gift making this year. I will do my annual family christmas card but no more. My second year of a conscious effort to keep the holiday stress to a minimum.

Love the ornament wreath idea. I decided a few weeks ago I wanted to make my own wreath this year with my starting point being red, silver and white. The ornament wreath might be just what I was looking for :) TFS!

Ooo, I really like the downloads at Erin Vale. Great resource, Lee!
I need to make some coasters, as we use seasonal coasters, and we don't have Autumn themed ones. I can't find coasters at the store now!
